Key Dates for 2022
The RPA have released the key dates for 2022 as below:

Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and Revenue claim application window 15th March to the 16th May - Countryside Stewardship application window 8th February to the 29th July.
If you are looking to apply for the Countryside Stewardship Mid Tier or Capital Grant Scheme this year and would like to include capital items that require endorsing by a Natural England Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer (CSFO) then NOW is the time to get the ball rolling.
With a 40% increase in Mid Tier applications last year, and the recently released increase in revenue option payment rates where options such as GS2 Permanent grassland with very low inputs saw a rise from £95/ha to £132/ha and AB7 Whole crop cereals from £495/ha to £554/ha, 2022 is set to be just as busy and CSFO’s will prioritise those that get in touch with them early.
