We are seeking a Part Time Accounts Administrator to join our team based in Yeovil on a permanent basis working alongside our Sales Manager. Hours negotiable.
Main duties include:
- Answering the phone to customers and taking orders.
- Processing purchase orders.
- Inputting supplier invoices.
- Raising customer invoices.
- Monthly BACS payment run.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Produce monthly financial reports.
- Dealing with any other ad-hoc accounts queries.
Ideally the candidate will have the following skills:
- Experience within the agricultural industry.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Xero accounting software experience (desirable not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy skills.
- Competent in using MS Office software.
- Adaptable and conscientious.
- Excellent organisational skills with a desire to learn.
- A love for problem solving and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude, friendly and personable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
