Job Vacancy -Finance/Accounts Administrator
Part-time Accounts/Finance Administrator
22.5 hours per week (preferably 9.30am – 2.00pm, Monday – Friday).
Yeovil, Somerset (Office based)
Salary: £12.00-£15.00/ph
DBL Buying Group are a small friendly team specialising in supplying farmers with agricultural products. Our offices are based in Yeovil. We are looking for a part-time Accounts/Finance Administrator to work alongside the Sales Manager.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
- Answering the phone to take orders
- Processing purchase orders
- Preparing and inputting sales invoices
- Managing and processing purchase invoices
- Checking supplier statements
- Manage the monthly supplier BACS payments
- Quarterly VAT submission
- Reconciliations of bank accounts
- Running monthly sales reports
- General finance administration
Ideally the candidate with have the following skills:
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Xero accounting software experience (desirable not essential)
- Familiar with spread sheets – Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- A positive attitude, friendly and personable
- Adaptable, organised and conscientious
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team, problem solving and prioritising tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Agricultural knowledge would desirable, but not essential
