For the first time ever DBL will be having show stands at a couple of the local shows this year. In conjunction with FCG Sherborne we will be having a stand at both the Honiton and the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Shows. Both shows will be over two days this year and the team will be at both shows, for both days, so why not come and see us?
Hopefully the weather will be dry for everyone to enjoy the fun of the fair and it will be a good day for all.
Why not come and see us for a chat and a drink, and while you are there enter our prize draw. We have some great prizes to be won thanks to a few of our suppliers.
At each show you’ll have the opportunity to win a one-acre bag of an herbal ley from Horizon Seeds as these are very much in focus at the moment. Not only is it GS4 compliant but it’s also formulated with a focus on forage production. We will also have a 20kg bag of Energizer Calf Milk powder to be won from Trouw Nutrition, timely for an autumn calver, and a fantastic powder that I’ve seen great results from time and time again. A 25-litre drum of Teat Spray from Parsons Farm Supplies, and goody bags from Gallagher Fencing.
As well as supplying the bag of herbal ley, Jim Juby from Horizon Seeds will be on the stand for each show to support us and help with any seed enquires you may have as we move into the autumn reseeding season. Jim can answer your questions on grass mixtures, herbal leys and all forage crops.
Come see us at Honiton Show on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th August on Avenue D, Stand 230 and at Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show on Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th August Avenue B, Stand B30. We look forward to welcoming and seeing you there!
