Farming and Technology Fund 2023 - Deadline 15th June
The Farming and Technology Fund: Animal Health and Welfare theme is currently open for applications, with a deadline of midday on 15th June 2023. The minimum grant available is £1,000 and maximum is £25,000. The list of available options includes:
- Mobile cattle handling system
- Cattle crushes
- Cow brushes
- Sheep handling systems
- Turnover crate
- Cameras for monitoring livestock
And many more covering cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry and general livestock options. The monetary value available for each option is 40% of the average cost of the item, this is a set amount regardless of how much you actually pay for the item. All items must meet the minimum specification as set out by the RPA, although you can buy an item with a higher specification.
The expected deadline to have the items on farm and to claim the grant is December 2023.
