Farm Business Review

The Sherborne office of The Farm Consultancy Group are very pleased to announce that we will be offering a FREE and tailored 1-to-1 farm support service, as part of Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund. This is administered via AHDB and is called The Farm Business Review Service (FBR).

The service comes at no cost to you, and we are accepting applications now from the Dairy, Beef and Sheep sectors in The South West.

Below are some of the ways we are able to support you through this agricultural transition:

• Identifying how, what and when you may need to adapt your business model.
• Helping you to evaluate the changes which are happening.
• Help to assess and demonstrate how these changes will impact your BPS payments.
• Investigate any other opportunities that are on offer and available.

We can achieve the above by utilising our vast experience and the below online tools:

• BPS Impact Calculator: How will BPS reductions impact your business?  
• Business Resilience Assessment: Is your business fit and ready for the future?  
• KPI Express Calculator: How well is your farm performing? 

​​​This service will offer you access to the above online AHDB tools, expert advice, and peer support to help your business prepare for the biggest agriculture policy shift in a generation, the reduction in BPS payments.
